Canadian Dental Care Plan 2024: The government of Canada launched the Canadian Dental Care Plan in December 2023. Canada Dental Benefit is already a part of the oral care program. According to the official schedule, the application process for adults with a valid disability certificate and children under 18 years old was started on 27th June 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for www.canada.ca Dental Care Plan
Individuals can get benefits from the Canadian Dental Care Plan if they fulfill all the conditions mentioned by the officials. Below are the conditions which are required to be fulfilled to become eligible:
- Individuals do not have access to dental insurance.
- The adjusted net income of the families should be less than $90,000.
- Individuals should be residents of Canada for tax.
- Applicants must have filed their tax returns for the last year.
- Individuals who hold dental coverage from the territorial, provincial or federal government social program can still apply for the CDCP. After fulfilling the above-mentioned conditions, the coverage of applicants will be coordinated between the plans which which ensures no duplication in the coverage.
(In case, any individual provides incorrect information, the particular beneficiary along with others the candidate has applied for will not get the benefit of the plan. How to apply for the Canadian Dental Care Plan 2024?
Individuals will have to apply online to participate in the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Please note that the officials have closed the application link between 8:00 pm on June 25 to 1:30 am ET on June 26 for maintenance. Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the CDCP:
- First of all, go to the official website of the Government of Canada using this link: https://www.canada.ca/
- Secondly, the home page will open where you must find and click the Benefits options.
- Thirdly, a list of available benefits will open where you must tap the Dental Coverage option.
- Now two plans will open on the screen. Tap the Learn More About Canadian Dental Care Plan and a new page will open.
- Afterwards, carefully find and click the Apply Online option and a new page holding application-related details will open.
- Again find the apply link and get access to the online application form.
- Enter the requested details on the application and attach the necessary documents.
